Bio

Stix & Stringz are a tight-knit family trio, who formed in 2022, to spread the message of how people can turn heartbreak into happiness by using the power of music to express built-up emotions. They blend indie folk with a versatile mix of pop and rock, crafting their distinctive sound and unbreakable bond. Their audio signature is like if the dreamy folk textures of Angus and Julia Stone were layered with the raw rock/pop energy of The Script. The group have an undeniable connection since the members are teenage siblings who have joined forces with their mum, bringing a special story.

The band have been breaking into the festival scene from playing at the Gympie Music Muster to hitting the stage, in front of over 1,200 people, at Camp For a Cure. In addition to festivals, Stix & Stringz has been playing at large events like Campfest Family (over 300 people) and intimate venues such at Rat Planet Studios Spring Hill, Brisbane. As well as playing live, they have released two original singles onto streaming services, attracting the attention of 91.9 Sea FM Sunshine Coast and Alive Magazine Fraser Coast.

The group are currently working on two new singles called ‘Grey’ and ‘Sushi Shop’ which will allow the audiences to dive into the band’s experiences of friendship, heartbreak, and finding new love.
